The ability to earn money while learning a trade All PPE & training fees paid for Ai Group Apprentice and Trainee Centre, alongside our Host company Suez Water, are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Maintenance Fitter and Turner Apprentice in the north eastern suburbs of Adelaide.
Position Details: Location: Hope Valley, SA 5090 Duration: 4-Year Fully Paid Apprenticeship Hours of Work: 7:30am-4:00pm Monday to Friday with 1 rostered day off (RDO) per month Requirements: Must be an Australian citizen or have full Australian working rights About the role: Operate and adjust production machines Run diagnostic checks, and troubleshoot to identify problems in production Design new components and systems using CAD/CAM systems Repair machines and build components in repair of facilities Operate and adjust machines to create parts or tools by turning, boring, milling, shaping, slotting, grinding, or drilling metal stock or components Cut, thread, bend, and install hydraulic and pneumatic pipes and lines Desirable Requirements: Must be an Australian Citizen or permanent resident with the right to work in Australia Completion of Year 10 High School Drivers Licence and reliable transport White Card and Working at Heights tickets Willing to undertake police check and pre-employment medical if required Benefits: Obtain a Nationally recognised qualification Mentoring from experienced industry professionals PPE provided throughout the apprenticeship 1 rostered day off (RDO) per month Ai Group Apprentice and Trainee Centre is a Group Training Organisation that partners with Australia's best companies, producing powerful outcomes for apprentices and trainees.
