Opportunity snapshot: Join Our AI Factory Team We are building an AI Factory team to enable Bupa to safely experiment and rapidly build and deploy AI solutions, as well as supporting AI tooling used by Engineering teams. The AI Engineer is a crucial role, responsible for building and maintaining a robust AI platform and developing and implementing cutting-edge artificial intelligence solutions.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, the AI Engineer will contribute to the design, development, deployment, and monitoring of AI applications, ensuring they align with business objectives and deliver impactful results.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated AI Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and implementing artificial intelligence solutions using Microsoft's Azure AI toolset and other relevant tools. The candidate will be a strong proponent of good software engineering standards and practices and have experience working in an Agile environment.
Your Contribution: Build and maintain a robust AI platform, helping establish the underlying AI Landing Zone and core infrastructure, including APIM gateway routing, security, logging, and usage tracking.Utilize AI tools and frameworks to build and support robust and scalable AI solutions.Deploy AI models to production environments, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.Integrate AI solutions into existing applications and workflows.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, data scientists, and business analysts, to integrate AI solutions seamlessly.Design end-to-end AI solutions using Cloud Technology Platforms.Document the AI development process, including model architecture, solution architecture, and deployment procedures.Provide engineering support for AI-powered testing solutions, including the use of Mistral or other tools for automated test case generation.Establish AI synthetic testing (for model drift, correctness, etc.).Provide engineering support for GitHub Co-Pilot across 350 engineers.Develop and implement machine learning models and algorithms for various AI applications.Participate in large-scale implementation of AI platforms and services from inception through to production, maintaining quality documentation and procedures for the ongoing support of the platform.Qualifications and training: Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology - Computer Science / Software Engineering or equivalent.Current Microsoft certifications in relevant Microsoft AI, Dynamics 365 applications and Power Platform advantageous.Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate, or equivalent, are highly desirable.Experience: Strong background in developing and implementing artificial intelligence solutions using OpenAI, Azure AI Studio, and other relevant tools.Proven track record of leading and delivering successful AI projects, from conception to deployment, preferably in a consulting environment.Strong programming skills in C#, .NET Core, and Python scripting, with experience in developing and deploying AI models on Azure.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable and robust technical solutions.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a knack for working in fast-paced, dynamic environments.What's in it for me?
