A leading IT consulting firm is looking to hire Business Analyst (Interns) who want to learn to become a professional Business Analyst and become ready to become a consultant to work in large ASX listed companies or State Govt clients.
As a business analyst intern, you will learn to work closely with business stakeholders to document and review current processes & systems, identifying opportunities for improvement and solutions. Then use project management methodologies to successfully deliver the projects.
A Business Analyst is a person who facilitates the process of introducing a digital application to a specific department or discipline within an organisation. This person speaks to the IT department about the potential user's needs and conversely speaks with the potential user on behalf of the IT department.
Roles of a Business Analyst, but not limited to: Liaise with business stakeholders in analysing and documenting Business Processes, both current and preferred Assist with Business Case development to justify allocation of resources for implementation of an application Advise business and administrator staff in the implementation of software Facilitate workshops Assist informal evaluation of software systems that may be implemented Supervise application support staff Consulting to business, technology, and project stakeholders regarding business analysis and project success factors. Demonstrating core business analysis skills including requirements elicitation, process design, data analysis, and implementation support. Analysing complex problems and processes to accurately understand the business needs of clients for new business solutions and enhancements. Creating an AS-IS/TO-BE business process mapping (BPM). Acting as a liaison between business and technical stakeholders to outline, design and implement new conversations, intents, and knowledge bases. Carrying out system testing and identifying critical defects. Managing communication, change and adoption across all relevant stakeholders. Requirements Exceptional communication skills, including advanced written and verbal English competency Holding a degree in ICT At least 1-3 years proven experience in the successful management and delivery of technology or ICT related projects Knowledge and experience of Business Analysis and Project Management methodologies Proven capability and experience in working with organisations to assist the development of business concepts through to final delivery Proven experience working within small to large projects with a good understanding of project management methodologies Strong interpersonal skills, including both oral and written communication, in addition to strong stakeholder engagement skills with a demonstrated ability to quickly build trust and effectively manage expectations. Demonstrated ability to work with a high degree of independence and professionalism, including the ability to prioritise and undertake a varied workload and respond positively and flexibly to change. Experiences in Health, Government or Financial Services would be highly desirable.
