The purpose of this role is to provide product application support to all stakeholders through a safe, efficient and organised manner in line with Epiroc's vision, mission and values. The key purpose of this mission is to utilise and deliver application support to our stakeholders in order to achieve the desired project outcome.
Responsibilities of this role consists of but are not limited to the below: Diagnosis and troubleshooting of Automation/Technology systemsInvestigate and lead the execution of optimisation projects focussed on the customer use of AHS and other technologies.Participate in product development and improvement activities focussed around the AHS system and its integration with other mining systems and processesSupports and facilitates autonomous system incident investigations, assisting by providing system expertise, identification of improvement initiatives and robust corrective actionsInterpret operational requirements to AHS engineering support teams for the purpose of issue resolution and R&D.Provide technical input where necessary in relation to change managementPresent as customers single Epiroc point of contact on site for AHS related queries and decision making where required Participate in the creation of training documentation, and best practices and processes.Other reporting to internal and external stakeholders where required The successful applicant will possess: Excellent overall troubleshooting skills including but not limited to control systems, mechanical, electrics, hydraulic and technology aspects of mining equipment.Meticulous and methodical execution with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Relevant trade or tertiary qualification/s.Strong electrical, hydraulic, and/or mechanical background.Experience with IT networking protocols, administration, monitoring, and supportCommitment to providing quality customer service.Flexibility to travel and adapt to various roster arrangements.Valid drivers license and able to obtain a National Police Clearance.What we offer: An excellent remuneration package with an attractive site allowance for travelSuper on all hours worked.Company-paid Income ProtectionSupport of a global company with unlimited career and mobility opportunitiesA huge array of training opportunities including internal product training, access to e-learning and education assistance to study externally.Opportunity to be part of a values-driven company, committed to your professional development.Generous paid parental leave for all parentsAbove NES long service leaveYears of service recognition awardsEpiroc is recognised today as a genuine global leader in innovative product engineering solutions.
