Program Manager - Project Future Assessment Strategy The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra) works in partnership with 15 National Boards to implement the national regulatory scheme for health professionals. The purpose of health practitioner regulation is to protect the public by ensuring that only health practitioners who have the skills, qualifications and knowledge to provide safe care are registered.

This is a Full time, fixed term, opportunity. Located at any Ahpra office, working a hybrid arrangement. About the role The Program Manager – Future Assessment Strategy is a pivotal leadership position reporting to the National Manager – Accreditation and Assessment. In this role you will lead and coordinate a comprehensive review of the assessment strategy for Internationally Qualified Nurses and Midwives (IQNM), with a focus on strengthening assessment processes, governance frameworks, and the candidate journey. The work may also expand to include other professions in due course. You will collaborate closely with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) and other National Boards to implement key changes in this critical area of the healthcare sector.
