About the role: Reporting to the Director, Nutrition and Dietetics (Rehabilitation and Palliative Care Division), some of your duties as the AHP1/2 Dietician may involve:
Developing and implementing a comprehensive clinical dietetic service for inpatients & outpatients of Rehabilitation, Aged and Palliative Care (RAP) Division.Demonstrate an evidence-based approach to practice and supervise students on clinical placement.Assist with research and special projects as a member of the RAP Division & Nutrition and Dietetic Department.Please note: This position is multi-classed as either AHP1 or AHP2 and classification will be determined by qualifications and/or experience.
About you: Appropriate degree or equivalent qualification which gives eligibility for full membership of the Dietitians Association of Australia (DAA).Current knowledge and experience in clinical nutritional management of adults & the elderly.Experience in the use of evidence-based approach in day to day practice.Experience in planning and implementing nutrition education programs for patients and carers.Experience in interaction with large scale food service systems.Application Closing Date: 11.55 pm Thursday 26th December 2024
