Details of the offer

Aged & Disability Support (Community Services & Development)
Working as an AHCRS Support Coordinator changes lives. We are looking for an individual who thrives on finding solutions that support people experiencing crisis, has initiative and enjoys working collaboratively!
Marathon Health is a great place to work and we are committed to providing quality services and fulfilling employment opportunities. This role can be located in either our Dubbo or Albury office locations. Full Time and Part time applications will be considered.
What is this role?
The After-Hours Crisis Referral Service (AHCRS) Support Coordinator provides support coordination services to eligible clients of the AHCRS program. In collaboration with the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA), this program aims to receive and respond to unavoidable, unforeseen and unresolvable disability related crisis events for NDIS participants across Australia.
The AHCRS Support Coordinator does not have a support coordination or billable caseload to manage on a day to day basis. Apart from rostered after-hours crisis work, AHCRS Support Coordinators work during business hours across multiple jurisdictions to promote the service and engage relevant stakeholders or resources to assist with responding to after-hours crisis situations. This involves delivering information sessions to mainstream services, engaging with stakeholders and developing and maintaining good working relationships across both the disability and mainstream service systems. It is a unique role that will provide a challenging but rewarding experience for the right candidate.
The role requires demonstrated experience as a Support Coordinator or similar role, with a strong understanding of the NDIS and the interface of NDIS participants with the mainstream service system. Experience in working with NDIS participants experiencing crisis situations and/or in a previous after hours on-call role would be desirable, as well as possible experience in stakeholder engagement and management across service systems.
Applicants must agree to participate in a rotating after hours roster that requires AHCRS staff to be on call from 5pm to 9am weekdays and 24 hours over weekends and public holidays.
