As an AGV Engineer, you will play a key role in AGV Projects, overseeing everything from the initial system specifications, design to the final delivery and implementation AGV System for our customers.This dynamic, hands-on role offers the opportunity to travel and spend approximately 50% of your time on-site, bringing AGV solutions to life in diverse locations.Work with technical experts and gain valuable experience, with Global leader AGV solution.Our head office is based in Belrose (on Sydney's Northern Beaches), where, as part of the onboarding process, you will have the opportunity to experience the AGV firsthand.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESEnsure the quality and system processes are followed within assigned projectsPreparing AGV functionality and technical specificationsDevelop System design and programming of AGV systemsAssisting in AGV System testing and integration, and AGV factory testingAssist with installation specificationsTesting and integration of AGV and PLC systemsCommissioning of AGVs on-siteSupport projects in managing costs and schedulesParticipate in the training of operatorsAssist in the development and improvement of the AGV project deliveryABOUT YOUSuccessful candidates will possess the following skills, qualifications and experience:Degree in Mechatronics Engineering or Electrical EngineeringRecent Grad or 1-2 years experienceKnowledge of PLC configuration, programming and commissioningKnowledge of PC and basic programming (PLC Structured Text, SICK Devices, C or C++ highly desirable)Experience with networking, monitoring, diagnosis and troubleshootingExperience in electrical design using AutoCAD or similar 2D and 3D drawing packagesExperience with automation or materials handling highly desirableStrong communication skillsStrong analytical thinking and problem solving skillsHunger and ability to learnWHAT WE OFFERCompetitive salary + superCareer Development and Global OpportunitiesOpportunity to work within a dynamic team within a larger organisationPaid Parental and carers leavePurchase LeaveSalary packaging with novated leasing availableFinancial Support for further educationExcellent Employee Referral Bonus programPlus More!WHY BRING YOUR CAREER TO DEMATICThis is an exciting time to join Dematic.
