AGS helps Commonwealth clients to manage legal issues, navigate new challenges and find solutions which deliver the best outcomes for Australia.
About the rolesAGS is seeking candidates who are looking to commence or expand their working career, have an interest in legal administration, and are enthusiastic and willing to learn. On-the-job training will be provided along with ongoing training and development.
The Legal Administrative roles include:Legal Administrative Assistant (APS Level 3)Legal Assistant (APS Level 4)About youGood attention to detail and a professional approachGood organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks at onceGood written and verbal communication skills and judgmentThe ability to deliver high-quality customer serviceGood knowledge of common software applications (e.g. Word, Outlook, Adobe)The ability to be flexible and work as part of a team.Previous administrative support experience is preferred if applying at the APS3, APS4 (minimum 2 years' legal assistant experience required), and APS5 level (substantial legal assistant experience required). APS Level 2 roles are entry-level positions and previous administrative experience would be an advantage but is not essential.
