About the roles AGS is seeking candidates who are looking to commence or expand their working career, have an interest in legal administration, and are enthusiastic and willing to learn.
On-the-job training will be provided along with ongoing training and development.
Fundamentally, a strong work ethic and a desire to work in a team and provide professional administrative service to lawyers is key.
The Legal Administrative roles include: Administrative Assistant (APS Level 2) Legal Administrative Assistant (APS Level 3) Legal Assistant (APS Level 4) Senior Legal Assistant (APS Level 5) About you Good attention to detail and a professional approach Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks at once Good written and verbal communication skills and judgment The ability to deliver high-quality customer service Good knowledge of common software applications (e.g., Word, Outlook, Adobe) The ability to be flexible and work as part of a team.
Previous administrative support experience is preferred if applying at the APS3, APS4 (minimum 2 years' legal assistant experience required), and APS5 level (substantial legal assistant experience required).
APS Level 2 roles are entry-level positions, and previous administrative experience would be an advantage but is not essential.
