About the Position We are currently seeking an Agronomist specialized in Viticulture to join our Heatherbrae Branch on a permanent, full-time basis.
As an Agronomist at Ace Ohlsson, your role involves fostering enduring relationships with clients, focusing not only on short-term benefits but on building successful, sustainable businesses for the long term. Specializing in Viticulture, you will collaborate with the branch team to offer agronomic guidance, products, and services that drive your clients' success.
Key Responsibilities Offer vineyard management advice to enhance productivity and yields for key Ace Ohlsson customers.Provide on-site agronomic support to clients, recommending suitable products and services for business enhancement.Meet financial targets, assist with product forecasting, and manage inventory effectively.Support staff development by offering technical advice and product suggestions.Establish and maintain professional relationships with a targeted group of clients.Identify and nurture new sales opportunities for prospective and existing clients.Leverage promotional chances, including field days and farmer meetings with demos and trials.About You Background in fields such as Viticulture, Horticulture, weed control, disease management, and chemical application.Capable of thriving in a collaborative work setting.Resourceful, adept at industry research, and open to embracing new technologies.Passionate about driving genuine change for clients and communities, with relationship-building at the core.Proven sales track record and prior experience in agronomy.Ability to deliver high-quality customer service and nurture relationships with growers.Relevant tertiary qualification in agricultural science or a related area.Comfortable working in a flexible and dynamic environment.About Ace Ohlsson & Elders Supported by a team of specialist agronomists in New South Wales, Ace Ohlsson is your go-to for agronomy advice, seed supply, fertilizers, ag chemicals, animal health products, and more.
