About the role:
We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Agricultural Diesel Mechanic/Workshop Manager who will be responsible for performing repairs, maintenance, and diagnostics on various agricultural machinery, as well as managing the daily operations of the workshop.
Duties and responsibilities: Oversee the general day-to-day running of the workshopTraining apprenticesDiagnosing and troubleshooting problemsServicing and repairing a variety of agricultural machineryPractice sound knowledge of workshop proceduresProficient with electrical and CANBUS systemsUnderstanding of GPS/Guidance SystemsLiaise with customers to schedule workloadsCompleting service reports in a timely mannerOversee and ensure OH&S/WHS compliance with staff and the workshopInspect and sign off on vehicles which have been serviced/repairedFull-time role | Weekend work only during busy periodsReporting to the business manager onlyRenumeration and benefits: $90k - $120k salary + the security of a permanent full-time roleAutonomous roleDown to earth family businessCompany carPaid training availableNewly created role – create your own impact on the businessWeekend work only when required during busy periodsBeautiful part of Australia and 20 minutes from the beach and 30 minutes from a minor city!Salary negotiable based on experience in the Agriculture Repair Industry especially CNH.About you: Fully qualified as a Heavy Diesel MechanicValid Australian working rightsFull Driver's LicenseMR and/or forklift License an advantageAvailable for long-term permanent positionExceptional diagnostic skillsExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalIf you possess great attention to detail, excellent communication skills and genuinely take pride in yourself and your work, then this position is for you.
