As a Research Trials Officer, you will play a pivotal role in the planning, execution, and analysis of agronomy and yield trials. You will also assist in field operations to ensure trial sites are maintained to the highest standard and all protocols are fulfilled.
Your key responsibilities will include: Design and coordinate yield and agronomy trials to support product advancement. Collaborate with growers and field operations teams to prepare and manage trial sites. Perform field assessments, including planting, weed and insect control, and harvesting. Use proprietary breeding software for trial documentation and data handling. Support seed supply coordination for third-party trials. Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements for field operations. What our client values in this role: Degree in Agricultural Sciences or related field (preferred but not essential). Demonstrated trial management experience essential. Experience operating farm machinery, ideally with GPS technology. Advanced skills in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. Current driver's license. HR or HC license desirable. This role will include travel and work outside regular hours, including weekends. Our client values flexibility and gives it in return!
