About the role: We are looking for a Commercial Sponsorship Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work closely with the Sponsorships & Partnerships Manager to manage and leverage national sponsorships, creating value for the AGL brand while driving meaningful outcomes for our customers and stakeholders.
This role is a 12-month contract. What you will be doing: Manage relationships with AGL's sponsorship partners, ensuring all contractual obligations are met and partnerships are aligned with business objectives. Develop and implement cost-effective leverage plans, including promotions, branded content, and activations, to align with AGL's brand strategy and drive customer acquisition and retention. Work with Commercial & Industrial (C&I) and commercial teams to leverage sponsorship assets for B2B networking events, hospitality, and bespoke business-led activities. Partner with Marketing and product teams to access sponsorship databases and drive B2C acquisition and retention strategies. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive awareness of sponsorship activities, foster employee engagement, and maximize both internal and external communication opportunities. Manage budgets, suppliers, and agency relationships to deliver high-quality sponsorship materials and activities on time and within budget. What we would like to see you bring: Demonstrated experience in sponsorship management, with a proven ability to oversee multiple partnerships and meet tight deadlines. Tertiary qualifications in Marketing or a related business discipline. Effective interpersonal skills with a strong ability to manage stakeholder relationships, including agencies and external suppliers. Excellent written and verbal communication, project management, and organizational skills to manage sponsorship programs and deliver results. Strong understanding of retail communications across various channels, with a focus on aligning sponsorships with overall marketing strategies.
