This position is offered on a Full time, continuing basis and is based at our Bebegu Yumba campus in Townsville. Classified as HEWL 9 the salary is $122,944 - $130,040+ 17% superannuation.
WHAT YOU CAN ACCOMPLISH IN THE ROLE
The Agile Delivery Manager brings expertise to lead and optimize our Agile planning and execution, ensuring our methods align with the University's evolving needs. In this role you will plan, develop, and improve processes in collaboration with the Technology Solutions team.
To be successful in this role you must have previous experience in the Agile environment. Come with a passion for driving excellence and innovation. Join our dynamic team at JCU and play a pivotal role in enhancing our Agile delivery processes.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE
Degree qualification or a combination of relevant experience and education in Delivery Manager/Lead, Project Manager, or Scrum Manager roles.
Advanced skills and proven experience in enterprise-scale Agile delivery methods such as SAFe in a large organisation and proven ability to deliver effective continuous improvement initiatives.
Experience in leading agile ceremonies, understanding agile roles, and artifacts, leading agile ceremonies, and conflict resolution to ensure project delivery and positive outcomes.
Ability to mentor and coach Product Managers, Scrum Masters and other team members to build their agile delivery capability
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills to judge shifting priorities and work both independently and as a member of a team.
Well-developed verbal communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to maintain highly effective working relationships.
