How you'll make an impact

The focus for the Platforms Agility Coach includes ensuring goals, scope, and agile transformation outcomes are understood. They will be responsible for coaching teams in agile mindset, behaviours and practices, to build capability to develop motivated and empowered teams and support a design centric, lean agile way of working enabling Platforms Transformation objectives.

The role will act as a mentor to Project Managers/Delivery Leads, Scrum Masters, Product Owners and other practitioners.

Support Platforms transformation mature lean-agile way of working, by: Vision & Direction:

Ensure the vision, objectives and scope of the agile transformation outcomes are understood.

Contribute to the target state vision of future ways of working.

Coach: leadership, teams & other practitioners on human centred and lean agile mindset, principles, practices & tools, driving adoption of ways of working and the development of high performance behaviours, mindsets and capabilities in alignment with AMP's strategy and culture.

Mentor delivery practitioners, develop community & capability, alignment of standards, best practices and tools.

Facilitate ceremonies, workshops & planning activities.

Develop:

Undertake maturity assessments, Create and implement maturity & capability uplift plans.

Build capability to support our new ways of working, including Lean Agile, Design Thinking, Service Design, Lean Start-up, practices.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of a design-based delivery framework, ensuring strong alignment of Platforms Transformation delivery to customer and business outcomes through the adoption of end-to-end insights in our discovery, prioritisation, design and delivery practices.

Build awareness, desire, knowledge, and ability in new ways of working practices.

Foster an environment for continuous improvement and learning.

What you will bring to the team

Ideally, you will bring the following experiences to this role:

- Recent experience coaching & training teams in SAFe and other agile methodologies/frameworks.
- SAFe certified (SPC) with min. 8 years experience in working and implementing SAFe in a complex organisation.
- Expert Knowledge of tools for agile teams and able to train/mentor others in using JIRA/Confluence.
- Thinks and acts strategically (Thought Leadership).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to make the complex simple. Must be confident to work with senior stakeholders. Clarifying stakeholder needs and managing expectations to ensure the delivery of effective service.
- High emotional intelligence; demonstrates curiosity; high abstract and conceptual reasoning and problem-solving abilities, and is a master of active listening.
- Ability to shape and execute on human centred insight driven plans.
- Strong results focus with a continuous improvement skillset.
- Ability to provide recommendations and influence others.
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritise workload for delivery.
- Ability for flexibility and adaptability to change.
- Proven change delivery experience.
- Commitment to continuous improvement, learning and personal growth.
