In order to accelerate the next phase of Amazon Advertising's development, we are committed to transforming the depth, scale, and ambition of our partnerships with major media agencies and have created a dedicated team across the world to deliver this vision at a local and regional level.This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior sales and business development leader to join the team to drive Amazon Advertising's strategic agency partnerships. Displaying a consultative style, candidates must be excellent communicators, experienced at operating with senior counterparts with agencies and advertisers, and able to earn trust with senior stakeholders across other Amazon teams. Additionally, candidates should be comfortable with complex data sets and have the ability to invent and simplify for customers.The candidate will possess a strong, hands-on knowledge of video advertising and screens planning; retail media; programmatic, including data and ad technology. Candidates will be self-motivated, happy to work autonomously, and highly goal-oriented in order to contribute to Amazon Advertising's ambitious growth plans.Key job responsibilitiesDevelop and execute a customer-led strategy for growth for media agencies at local and regional level.Serve as face of Amazon within the agency, providing leadership and support to sales, service, operations, and technical specialists.Build and manage a detailed HoldCo, OpCo, and client team engagement strategy, including business reviews.Partner with the sales team to drive sales execution, including providing end-to-end management for key strategic opportunities.Develop commercial structures to create incremental opportunities for growth across traded and programmatic products.Lead education and enablement of key agency functions including delivery of agency-wide events.Identify opportunities for agency collaboration around large-scale creative solutions - including pro-active engagement with creative agencies.Liaise with global teams to identify transformative opportunities for agency partnerships offered by Amazon's products.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS8+ years of Digital Advertising experience.5+ years of experience working with Media Agencies, either on the Agency or Client side.3+ years of direct experience in Programmatic Marketing.5+ years working with Media Agency senior partners.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSMinimum 8+ years of experience in agencies and/or advertising sales, account leadership, client services. 10+ years preferable.Expertise in navigating complex matrix organizations and building strong, consultative customer relationships.Practical knowledge of Commerce and/or Ad Tech stacks plus video/audio/out of home/on box advertising.Proven track record of delivering results and generating transformational growth.Strong analytical abilities, written skills, and confidence in the use of data.Thoughtful, confident presenter of your ideas internally and externally.Self-motivated, work autonomously, be comfortable with ambiguity, and highly goal-oriented in order to contribute to Amazon Advertising's ambitious growth plans for this customer segment.Bachelor's degree or equivalent.Acknowledgement of country:In the spirit of reconciliation, Amazon acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea, and community.
