About the role An exciting opportunity awaits for Aged Care Workers to join the team. selectability, a reputable aged care provider providing support in the Lower Gulf of North Queensland. Aged Care Workers play a vital role in the lives of the older persons by providing quality, responsive and compassionate care that supports a trusted and long-term relationship with our older persons. Working closely with the Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and the collaborative healthcare team, the Aged Care Workers will provide person-centred care to support the older persons.

About you To be successful you must:

have a positive attitude experience working in a team environment possess clear and effective communication skills demonstrated understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards Ability to work independently and effectively manage time be able to follow policies and procedures at all times be able to work with culturally and linguistically diverse communities and individuals You will also need:

Certificate III in Individual Support/ Home and Community Care/ Aged Care or equivalent qualification Previous experience working in an Aged Care residential facility Previous experience working in remote areas (highly desirable) current Flu vaccination (desirable) a current yellow card exemption or an NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or the ability to obtain prior to commencement) NDIS Worker Orientation Module 'Quality, Safety & You' completion certificate(visit https://training.ndiscommission.gov.au to access this free module). at completion of the course, you will be provided with a certificate of completion which you can forward to ****** We offer a range of benefits including $39.33- $46.81 per hour (+ super + allowances and penalty rates) employee Assistance Program salary packaging option up to $15,900 per FBT clearly defined career progression pathway professional development opportunities subsided learning through our RTO selectability Training (RTO 0281) FIFO workers 6 weeks on, 2 weeks off roster free accommodation provided and all travel costs covered all meals provided above award wages Local workers full time/ Part time, Casual hours available all meals provided- when on shift above award wages How to apply If this is you – we're keen for you to join our growing team!
