About the role Estia Health Albury is a modern and welcoming home surrounded by its own landscaped lawns and gardens, comprising of 80 places.
You will lead a team of aged care professionals where no two days are the same. One day your focus could be on welcoming a new resident and their family and the next you could be overseeing the submissions of accurate and timely AN-ACC documentation.
Promote a resident-centred culture which values, respects and treats all residents with compassion and dignity Continuously monitor clinical care processes and ensure safe practices to effectively implement improvements, minimise risks and prevent injuries for all stakeholders Maintain Clinical Governance, to ensure accreditation is achieved and maintained in accordance with policy and regulatory standards Ensure medication management and infection prevention control principles are maintained and are in line with current best practice guidelines, Estia Health policy and legislative frameworks Ensure rights and responsibilities of residents are provided and concerns raised by residents or family members are addressed in a timely and coherent manner Promote a positive workplace culture, continue building a cohesive team and help improve employee engagement The traits that will help you succeed You'll be an experienced leader with a proven ability to drive change and improvement in an environment of ambiguity Commitment to quality and a broad knowledge of all facets of contemporary aged care including AN-ACC funding and Accreditation Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing strategic operational plans and record of driving change and compliance Exceptional team building skills, including the demonstrated capability to build strong relationships across internal and external stakeholders to prioritise workloads Ideally you'll also bring a strong clinical background As one of the largest and fastest growing aged care providers in Australia, we need exceptional people to join us on our journey of changing the way we offer aged care.
