Hours per Fortnight: 76 or 80 with a monthly Accrued Day Off
Location: Community Health, Shepparton
Salary Range: $76,544 - $107,036 pa + Superannuation + Generous salary packaging + relocation incentives (if eligible)

Relocation incentives may be available to the successful applicant for this role, including relocation & accommodation support.
Relocation Support:
Intrastate (over 100kms) - up to $2,500 Interstate - up to $5,000 Overseas - up to $8,000 Accommodation Support:
Up to $350 per week for up to 10 weeks; or 10 weeks interim GVH Accommodation (if available) Connection to a FREE 1:1 relocation concierge service supporting all aspects of relocation.

Come and join the GV Health Rural Allied Health Team (RAHT), a team with a well-renowned supportive workplace culture with an opportunity to work alongside experienced Occupational Therapists.
You will work autonomously, undertake a varied and diverse workload and provide interventions in predominantly home-based settings, making a true difference to our client's independence and well-being.
There is no nursing home work.
The team is an established and progressive multi-disciplinary team which includes Dietetics, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Podiatry, Social Work and Speech Pathology services, supported by Allied Health Assistants.
The Occupational Therapist will provide person-centred care with an opportunity to:
Travel across the Goulburn Valley region working in home and clinic settings Work with clients, carers and families to provide practical solutions to promote independence and safety at home Develop goals and care plans to assist clients to remain at home and active in their local community Complete equipment prescriptions, home modifications, advise on pressure care management/seating, develop in-home and community-based therapy programs Work with a diverse range of clients and health conditions Participate in student training programs Participate in service development and quality improvement initiatives A comprehensive orientation program is available, along with supervision and support opportunities.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or equivalent and eligibility for membership of a professional association Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an Occupational Therapist Knowledge and experience in the delivery of Occupational Therapy services within home, group and community settings, including home modifications and prescription of assistive technology Knowledge of the service system and ability to liaise and advocate across the full spectrum of health and community care A clear/satisfactory National Disability Insurance Scheme Worker Screening (NDIS) Check upon commencement Why work at GV Health?
