We are seeking a skilled and experienced Head Chef to join our team at BlueCare's Lowood Aged Care Facility. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the high-quality preparation and presentation of food for our residents.
About the Role: This is a permanent full-time opportunity with a competitive salary package including Super, Not for Profit Salary Packaging, and Penalties & Allowances.
Your Key Responsibilities: Prepare, Cook, and Serve Food: In adherence with dietary requirements, with a strong focus on food safety standards. Support Senior Hospitality Staff: With menu design and implementation. Promote Quality Standards: Maintain service with standard operating procedures. What We're Looking For: We are looking for a Head Chef who has:
Proven experience in safe food preparation, storage, and delivery. A clear understanding of Workplace Health and Safety (WHS). Confidence in medium-high volume meal preparation. Relevant trade qualifications or equivalent skills from previous experience. Great communication skills and excellent attention to detail. An understanding of Australian food and beverage standards.
