At Hands on People Pty Ltd, we are seeking a Finance Officer to join our team.
This position will be based in Brisbane and will play a crucial role in our finance department.
Roles and Responsibilities: Prepare Quotes, Service Agreements, and relevant documents Timely generation of invoices and claims to the relevant authorities Manage accounts payable functions Manage fortnightly payroll Assist in preparation of Payroll Tax, BAS, IAS Process daily Bank Reconciliations Assist in preparation of Monthly Financial reports to be submitted to the Managing Director Required: Minimum 1 year of working experience in a team-leading role for finance.
Working knowledge of basic accounting principles, accounts payable, receivables, preparation of financial reports, and GST in relation to suppliers.
Demonstrated computer literacy (including advanced Excel), keyboarding skills (alpha and numeric), and proficiency in all modules of Xero.
Interpersonal and communication skills to provide high-quality internal and external customer service and work productively in a team environment.
Effective time management and organizational skills with a demonstrated initiative to problem-solve financial administrative matters.
Essential Skills and Qualifications: Relevant Accounts / Finance degree and experience in the field.
Current First Aid Certificate and CPR Extended knowledge about the NDIS system and the industry.
Able to work in a team and be proactive in finding solutions to anticipated challenges.
