Pangula Mannamurna Aboriginal Corporation (PMAC) is a Community Controlled Health Organisation located in Mount Gambier providing a comprehensive primary health care service to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities across the Limestone Coast.

The Opportunity As the Aged Care Connector you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact in supporting clients and community members within the Limestone Coast. You will serve as a critical link to supporting local Elders, older Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community and their families to raise awareness of their aged care entitlements, whilst working closely with the Aged Care Support Coordinator.
Full-Time Contract to 30th June 2025 Responsibilities Community outreach to promote aged care services. Supporting clients and their families through aged care referral systems. Establish, and maintain, good working relationships with relevant agencies, both internally and externally. Uphold organisation, employee and client confidentiality and maintain a professional approach in all situations within both the community and the work environment. Demonstrated experience in engaging with, and understanding of, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and individuals. Well developed communication and time management skills. A qualification in Community Services. Trained in Mental Health First Aid—Aboriginal specific if appropriate. Knowledge of or willingness to learn about the aged care landscape. Requirements Some out of hours work, and inter/intra state travel, will be required. Attendance at training sessions on and off site. Current full Drivers Licence. Current Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and DHS Working With Children Check.
