Your new opportunity BRAMS now has an exciting opportunity for multiple full-time, part-time and casual Aged Care & Disability Support Workers to join the multidisciplinary healthcare team in Broome, WA.

Reporting to the Family Services Team Leader, you will provide support services to community members accessing Aged Care and NDIS services. Your duties will include helping clients with transport, running errands, household chores, and personal chores. As part of this role, you will need to fill out appropriate forms and reports in their case files.

Being a part of the growing family and community services team, you will provide a person-centred approach to care and support for people accessing these services and will work largely autonomously, while still having the support of your team.

About You To be successful in this role, you will be passionate about helping vulnerable members of the community retain their independence and providing person-centred support. Experience in some administrative work is necessary, as you will need to maintain case files.

A Certificate III in Aged Care or Disability Support is an advantage, but if you don't hold this, we will support you to get your qualification while working. The ability to work autonomously while communicating successfully with people from all backgrounds will also be important in this role.

Finally, you will be a caring and compassionate individual who is self-motivated and passionate about your field of work.

You will need to hold a current Australian Driver's License and will need to have or obtain a current Working With Children Check (OCHRE Card), NDIS Worker Screening Check and National Police Clearance prior to starting with us.
