Aged Care Direct Support Worker - Bsw

Position: Direct Support Worker We are hiring casual Direct Support Workers to assist our Aged Care clients residing across Forest Lake to Jindalee and surrounding suburbs!
Your contribution: Assisting with personal care, including showering, dressing, and personal hygieneAdministering medicationsDomestic duties including cleaning, laundry, or meal preparationAssisting clients between 9am to 5pm, Monday to FridayCommunity engagement, such as attending doctors' appointments, grocery shopping, or other social or recreational activities of their choiceAbout you: Have the capacity to work flexible hours on a roster system - CPL provides 24/7 assistance, meaning the more available you are, the more shifts we can potentially offer youAre looking for a change from aged care facilities and have the opportunity to build a rapport with your aged care clientsAre great communicators dedicated to providing the best service for every personAre even better listeners who can work autonomously, as well as under direction and within a team environmentCalm and confident in all different environments and understand the importance of professional boundariesHold a Certificate III in Individual Support or Aged Care (highly desirable)Can provide personal care with dignity and sensitivity to our clientsBelieve in an inclusive society and value client focus, respect, inclusion, integrity, excellence, and courageHold an Australian Open Driver's License and full comprehensive car insuranceHave the capacity to travel to clients' homesWhy Join Us: An hourly rate based on your industry-related experience and qualificationsMinimum casual hourly rate starting at $33.01/hr at Level 1.1Time to build effective relationships with your aged care clientsIndustry-leading training provided by health professionals to all employeesAdditional penalty rates for night and weekend shiftsSalary packaging benefits for permanent part-time employeesFlexibility to support your lifestyle and commitmentsSupport and continued professional developmentBefore you commence, you will need: Current First Aid and CPR certificatesA Blue Card (Working with Children Card)An NDIS Worker Screening Check (Working with Individuals with Disabilities, formerly a Yellow Card)Commitment to infection prevention and control measures including the use of PPE as directedHold an Australian Open Driver's License and full comprehensive car insuranceHave your own vehicle to attend shiftsCPL is happy to assist in obtaining these necessary checks if you are successful.
