Location - Mid North Coast (Travel required within areas such as Coffs Harbour and Forster) Flexible hours and days – Monday to Friday, Full time or part time; no shift work!
Pay rate – $47.66 per hour + superannuation
7 additional leave days per year
Pay less tax with Not For Profit Salary Packaging
Travel will be reimbursed at 0.88 cents per km in line with our travel policy Fitness Passport discounted gym memberships

We're thrilled to announce that our Aged Care Assessment Services ('ACAS') team is expanding, creating exciting opportunities! ACAS positions offer flexibility and autonomy and are based across both metropolitan and regional locations, with most roles involving local travel within each region. We have an exciting opportunity for an Aged Care Assessor to join the team.
What will your role look like?
You will be conducting assessments to identify and meet the needs of clients and refer to appropriate home support services.
Day to day this includes:
Collaborating with clients, families and multidisciplinary teams as required Working collaboratively with colleagues to promote a supportive and positive team culture Conducting accurate aged care assessments using the Integrated Assessment Tool (IAT) to determine client needs and eligibility for home support services Reviewing support plans to meet client's changing support needs Working effectively both autonomously and as a member of a broader team in delivering to key performance indicators within identified timeframes Maintaining currency of knowledge relating to aged care services both funded and non-funded Assisting with continuous improvement frameworks to regularly evaluate and enhance assessment processes and outcomes To be successful in this role you'll need:
An Australian Driver's license and access to a registered, insured vehicle Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Commitment to excellence in customer service, both to internal and external stakeholders Excellent planning, organising and problem-solving skills Previous knowledge or work experience in the Aged Care System preferred Completion of training requirements as specified under the My Aged Care workforce learning strategy 2023 Demonstrated understanding of and ability to undertake person-centred, goal-directed, strength-based holistic assessments Demonstrated understanding of work health safety principles including the required analytical skills to identify and effectively manage risks Willingness to apply for a Police Check What we can offer you:
