What you'll be doing : Joining the Northern Sydney Local Health District (NSLHD) ACAT means you will be part of a dynamic team providing Aged Care Assessment. Excellent education and clinical supervision is provided on an ongoing basis. The team welcomes applications from those with a strong interest in working with older persons.
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background encouraged to apply. Candidates will need to meet the following criteria: Relevant tertiary qualifications as per clinical discipline (nursing, occupational therapy, social work, physiotherapy), with full AHPRA registration or Social Work Degree with eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Work. Demonstrated discipline-specific clinical experience working in relevant aged care settings and proven ability to undertake comprehensive assessments and formulate appropriate care plans for older people. Detailed knowledge of My Aged Care and related aged care programs and services with proven ability to assess and support both routine and complex aged care presentations. This is a NSW Health Category A position which requires immunisation and screening for certain diseases. The full list of requirements are outlined in the NSW Health OASV Policy.
