Why Central Australian Aboriginal Congress?
Congress is a comprehensive Aboriginal community-controlled health service, providing primary health care services to Aboriginal Australian persons in Alice Springs and various remote communities in Central Australia. This position sits within the NDIS Allied Health Services Team, in the Health Services Division. The Occupational Therapist works with the NDIS Allied Health Services Manager to develop and promote the service in partnership with community.

What's the role?
Be responsible for the sustainable implementation of the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP)
Provide clinical and operational support to an team delivering culturally-responsive accessible allied health services.
Support
staff, optimise workflows, improve business systems, engage stakeholders, provide clinical care, and drive service growth to enhance health outcomes for older Aboriginal Community members
Is this the right role for you?
Allied health qualification and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or other relevant professional association with extensive clinical experience.
Demonstrated experience in providing leadership, supervision and support to a team of allied health professionals, including caseload management
Experience in program management, service development and systems
Ability to partner with service users, including them in goal setting, care planning and care co-ordination to identify priorities.
Willingness, ability and appropriate levels of health and fitness to travel to and work from remote locations
Current NT Driver Licence or equivalent or the ability to obtain.

may be able to offer
relocation support and clinical educational financial assistance
