The Red Cross Aged & Community Care programs support older and vulnerable Australians by improving their social connection and wellbeing through a variety of different services.
As an admin volunteer, you would be supporting the operational team with the delivery of our programs, including:
TelecrossTelechatVisiting VolunteersMeal DeliveryTransportSocial SupportThe opportunity For this role you will need good customer service and administrative skills, as well as the ability to relate to and empathise with a broad range of people, including those with different lived experiences, abilities, and cultures.
You will be comfortable using computers and be able to learn various systems as required. All volunteers will need to complete a National Criminal Check. Red Cross will ensure you have training, ongoing support and access to other opportunities within the world's largest humanitarian network.
The impact As an admin volunteer, you will be assisting Red Cross to deliver essential programs in the community. You will have the opportunity to meet and interact with many diverse people, as well as feeling the satisfaction of giving back to others.
You'll be part of the Red Cross Aged & Community Care team that works to support older and vulnerable people across Australia through a range of volunteer-based programs.
Application Requirements For this role you will be required to undertake a National Police Check, organised through Red Cross.
