We're seeking a Rural Financial Counsellor to join our team in the Goulburn Valley.

Hours of work for this position are full-time.
However, part-time would be considered.
AgBiz Assist offers flexible working arrangements and a fully maintained company vehicle or car allowance.
Rural Financial Counsellors provide assistance to primary producers, fishers and small related businesses experiencing or at imminent risk of financial hardship by analysing their financial circumstances and identifying their financial and business options.
They help clients identify ways to become self-reliant and better equipped to manage change and adjustment.
Rural Financial Counsellors do not provide financial advice, family, emotional or social counselling or formal farm succession plans but they can provide referrals to appropriate professionals.
To be successful in your application, you will have the following:
High level of written and verbal communication skills A Diploma in Financial Counselling (currently studying or willingness to study) Professional experience or strong financial acumen to analyse financial data and document a client's financial position, identifying options, and supporting clients to implement change.
An understanding of rural industries.
Case management experience or skills to provide support and guidance, with strong record-keeping skills.
The ability to plan, manage and report on tasks, prioritise and control work areas whilst working as part of a dispersed team.
Current unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence and willingness to travel to provide outreach services as required.
Basic IT literacy and capability.
Experience with Salesforce database would be an advantage.
A remuneration package will be offered to the successful applicant commensurate with skills and experience.
