We are seeking a dynamic and experienced OSHC Coordinator to lead an Out of School Hours Care program in a Montessori setting in the North of Sydney for children aged 3-6 years old. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the program, including staff supervision, child safety, movement between campuses, curriculum development, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
This role is ongoing and the proposed hours will be:
During Term Weeks: Monday - Friday 2pm - 6pm (20 hours per week)During School Vacation periods: Monday to Friday - (40 Hours per week)Key duties: Develop and implement engaging and age-appropriate activities and programs that promote children's learning and development.Lead, support, and motivate a team of educators to deliver high-quality care and experiences for children.Maintain a safe and inclusive environment where all children feel valued, respected, and supported.Foster positive relationships with children, families, schools, and the broader community.Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures, including National Quality Framework (NQF) standards.Oversee administrative tasks such as rostering, budget management, and record keeping.Skills & Experience: Minimum requirement of an ACECQA approved Diploma of Children's Services or Early Childhood.Prior experience as a Coordinator of an OSHC Provision.Senior First aid training as prescribed in the Education and Care Services National Law Act 2010, including anaphylaxis and emergency asthma training.Food Safety Certification, or willingness to complete relevant training.Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Framework and Education and Care Services National Regulations.Hold a current Employee Working with Children Check and Police Check (or be willing to obtain one).How to apply: To apply, follow the link provided or apply on our website.
