About the role: The successful applicant will join our maintenance team to provide maintenance support to our manufacturing plant and equipment.
You will assist with project installation and commissioning.
This role is working afternoon shift, 2pm to 10.06pm Monday to Friday.
Your duties will include but are not limited to: Carrying out electrical and mechanical repairs and rebuilds to equipment throughout the siteNew equipment installation and commissioningAdvanced fault finding and diagnosing breakdowns on machineryCollaborate with a team of professionals to facilitate seamless operationsFollow safety protocols and adhere to industry regulationsAssisting external contractors as directed to carry out breakdown repairs and preventative maintenance throughout the site and collaborate on specific projectsAssist in maintaining quality accreditations (i.e.
: Feedsafe, HACCP, DAFF etc)Requirements: Certificate III in Electro Technology and Electrician and/or Certificate III ElectronicsA minimum of five (5) years trade experienceExperience with automated machinery, PLCs, roboticsExperience within a food production environment is highly advantageousKnowledge of current electrical standardsAbility to read and understand/modify electrical schematic drawingsProven ability to problem solve and fault find electrical circuitsProven electrical control for effective machine guardingHigh level mechanical aptitudeExcellent workmanship and attention to detailAbility to work independently as well as contribute as a team memberBe productive to complete tasks within set time framesHold a current driver's licenceWP high risk licenceExperience using CMS (Upkeep) maintenance software (desirable)Experience working in a similar industry (desirable)Benefits: Above award rate + 20% leave loading.
