Afternoon Shift - HC Local Drivers / Dangerous Goods - FAIRFIELD Our client is a leading and dedicated supplier of medical gases.
We currently have multiple ongoing, temp to perm HC opportunities for a Tanker Delivery Driver based in FAIRFIELD. Training will be provided.
AFTERNOON Shift: 4PM START - MONDAY to FRIDAY Salary: $47.34 + OT where required and daily DG allowance Key Responsibilities, Skills & Experience MUST have a valid HC licence MUST have a valid Dangerous Goods licence Safely operate LPG tankers in accordance with statutory requirements and HSE policies. Perform line haul deliveries to terminals, major customers, and tanks throughout Sydney. Manage the accurate and timely loading and unloading of LPG tankers. Conduct regular vehicle checks and maintenance, ensuring all safety equipment is operational. Collaborate with the logistics team to manage delivery schedules and customer orders. Report any customer site defects or safety hazards and handle customer complaints effectively. Participate in safety activities, including emergency response drills and incident reporting. Experience and confidence operating a commercial vehicle in a safe manner. Previous experience with handling Dangerous Goods is desirable. 1 Year Experience with tanker delivery driving is essential. Ability to work autonomously but contribute towards collective goals and objectives. Good knowledge of Australian Dangerous Goods requirements.
