Job Description2 positions available - 12hr/week starting on 11 November 2024 if possible, and 15hr/week starting in January 2025. As a School Assistant, you will be an active member of a team providing high quality education and care in an after care and vacation care service for children of preschool age. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Actively supervise and effectively communicate with the children.Respond to the strengths, interests, and needs of the children.Contribute to the recording of the observations of children's learning and development.Desired Skills and ExperienceACECQA approved Certificate III level qualification would be a plus.Minimum 1 year of experience in an education and care setting.Knowledge of and understanding of the National Qualifications Standards and Early Years Learning Framework would be highly regarded.
