Job Description About the role The after hours service can be the first point of contact for our service in the assessment of adults, young people and children who have experienced sexual or family violence. The afterhours service provides an informed, timely, client centred response that offers a high quality triage service; responding to the needs of people in our diverse community who have experienced the trauma of sexual or family violence.

This role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional with energy and vision to lead the afterhours teams from across the organisation. The Afterhours Team Leader will build on current expertise within the intake team and contribute to the design and implementation of an enhanced intake service with quality systems and processes that support consistent afterhours service across the organisation. The Afterhours Team Leader is responsible for ensuring that we respond to referrals from business hours intake, our partner organisations within the MDC, The Orange Door, The Sexual Assault Crisis Line (SACL) and Safe Steps with consistency, empathy, accuracy and professionalism.

This role is part time (2.5 days per week) ongoing.

You will also have experience in leading teams and building capability.

You will be a values-driven person, motivated to make a difference and you hold the client at the centre of everything you do. You thrive working both autonomously and collaboratively within a dynamic team environment. You will have proven experience in practice leadership and building capability in therapeutic services.
