This role is based in the beautiful Newcastle Hunter region of NSW, offering a vibrant community and rich culture.
The incumbent will have:
· A knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal culture and values and an awareness of the current issues faced by Aboriginal children, young people and their families.
· Experience in youth services or residential care;
· Ability to relate to and work with young people with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties;
· Ability to implement behaviour management plans for young people with challenging behaviours;

Valid and current Driver's License.
Satisfactory Criminal History Check (paid for by MacKillop);
