and register your details via The Welcome Experience registration.What you'll be doingThe After Hours Nurse Manager coordinates after-hours patient care services including movements into, through and out of inpatient units across the Facilities.
This position leads and supports after hours clinical staff by redeploying and coordinating replacement staff to achieve a seamless patient, client or consumer journey.
Selection Criteria Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
Relevant management qualification and/or equivalent experience.
Well-developed interpersonal, verbal and written communication, consultation and negotiation skills necessary to build and maintain collaborative relationships with individuals and other health professionals.
Proven ability to provide leadership and direction to staff with demonstrated capacity to manage clinical services, apply problem solving strategies and support continuous quality improvement.
Demonstrated experience and ability to contribute to service development, planning and change management.
Demonstrated ability to implement and monitor nursing resource allocations, FTE and workload to meet facility performance requirements.
Proven ability to function effectively as part of team and to work successfully with other professionals and disciplines.
Current unrestricted drivers' licence and the ability to maintain.
Ability and willingness to drive/travel as the role requires.
This may involve driving long distances.
