An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Registered Nurse to take up a Casual Hospital Coordinator position within the team at Mount Hospital.

Key functions include: The position is responsible for the smooth and efficient day-to-day functioning of the Hospital, coordinating patient admissions, bed allocation and staffing requirements across inpatient areas. The position also requires strong leadership skills with the ability to take a leading role during emergencies as the hospital's emergency controller.
About You To be successful in this role you will be a positive and effective leader with the ability to motivate others. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to coordinate and motivate a large team of clinical and non-clinical professionals.

Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA as a Registered NurseMinimum 5 years postgraduate experience within the Acute Care sectorExperience in a similar coordinator roleDemonstrated ability to be an effective role model for all staffExcellent analytical and time management skillsSound Computer skills in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)To be successful you will need to be available to work a 7-day rotating roster across all shifts.
