As part of the Healthscope Group of Hospitals, it is a licenced 122 bed hospital providing a broad range of multiday and day surgery including, General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Ophthalmology, Plastic and Reconstructive, Urology, Gastroenterology and ENT and Cardiac Catheter Laboratory.

We are seeking an experienced, dynamic and highly motivated person who is skilled at working in a face paced environment and enhances the productivity of the Executive team through the efficient, effective management and coordination of secretariat tasks and by supporting the team to reach targets and deliver on the organisations aims and objectives.
We are looking for a creative and innovative approach to ensure efficient and cost-effective management of human, financial and material resources.

The After Hours Hospital Coordinator is a pivotal member of the health care team providing after hours leadership and management of the nursing team and hospital.
As the After Hours Hospital Coordinator your responsibilities will include: Supervise safe, quality care that meets current best practice standards Support and liaise with the respective Nurse Unit Manager(s) of wards and departments Ensure all areas are staffed appropriately and cost efficient Coordinate patient admissions Oversee the safety of all patients and hospital staff Essential Criteria:  Registered Nurse with current AHPRA Registration Recent management experience at ANUM level or higher Tertiary Qualification in a health related discipline or management (desired) Knowledge of relevant Awards and Enterprise Agreements (desired) Demonstrated experience with the coordination and allocation of staff High degree of computer literacy including MS Office Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills People leadership skills including mentorship and coaching of team members Ability to manage special projects and selected portfolios Applications close: 9th December 2024 For further enquiries:   Director of Nursing, Vanessa Frewin via ****** To Apply: Please click on the 'Apply' button to be taken to our online application form.
