Peninsula Private Hospital is seeking a highly organized and motivated Registered Nurse to join our team as a part-time After-Hours Hospital Coordinator.
Responsibilities: Supervise safe, quality care that meets current best practice standardsSupport and liaise with the respective Nurse Unit Manager(s) of wards and departmentsEnsure all areas are staffed appropriately and cost efficientCoordinate patient admissionsOversee the safety of all patients and hospital staffQualifications: Minimum 3 years' experience as a Registered Nurse with current AHPRA RegistrationRecent management experience at ANUM level or higherTertiary Qualification in a health-related discipline or management (desired)Knowledge of relevant Awards and Enterprise Agreements (desired)Demonstrated experience with the coordination and allocation of staffHigh degree of computer literacy including MS OfficeExceptional interpersonal and communication skillsPeople leadership skills including mentorship and coaching of team membersAbility to manage special projects and selected portfoliosPlease note applicants with under 3 years' experience will not be considered. Shifts: PM, ND shifts during Weekdays and AM, PM, ND shifts on Weekends
