Part Time - Permanent Hours Available Exciting and rewarding leadership position within our Health Service Opportunity to up skill into After Hours role Highly committed, supportive and friendly team The After Hours Coordinator is a valued member of the Clinical Leadership Team who supports and promotes the values of the organisation through effective leadership. This role represents the Executive out of hours.This role is responsible for promoting a high standard of professional practice, whilst ensuring effective clinical and organisational services out of hours. Role includes: Working autonomously out of hours Staffing and utilising shift communication tools Demand escalation of clinical an non clinical issues for the safety of staff and patient / residents Coordinating hospital emergencies, MET Calls and codes Rounding and communication with acute ward, Theatre, UCC, aged care, maternity and home nursing Decision making for the organisation with the support from our executive team Working alongside senior management team Input for decision made within our clinical team / setting Resource to staff and areas out of hours Benefits: working collaboratively across all clinical settings throughout the organisation Building relationships Knowledge and experience in hospital management For further information please contact Leah Foster on 03 5232 5200 For further information on CAH https://cah.vic.gov.au/ Applications close Monday 13th May 2024 To apply or for further information visit: https://colacareahealth.mercury.com.au  Position is subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check, Working With Children Check and participation in CAH's Immunisation Program We are committed to the safety and wellbeing of all children and young people. Essential: Previous experience in a similar role or management position. Essential: Emergency/Critical Care/Midwifery qualification/experience desirable. Essential: Current Advanced Life Support Skills. Essential: Effective communication and conflict resolution skills. Essential: Ability to provide leadership, work autonomously and as part of a team. Essential: Ability to manage emergencies. Essential: Competent computer skills.
