About you: Are you a suitably qualified Senior Registered Nurse looking for career progression, with extensive knowledge of Emergency Nursing. If so, we're seeking an After Hours Clinical Nurse Educator (AHCNE) and would love to hear from you. Come and join our collaborative nursing team. Our progressive and innovative team offers development opportunities for our staff and a caring environment for the delivery of high quality, patient centred care. The AHCNE is responsible for the assessment, development, implementation, promotion and evaluation of the clinical education needs, professional development and accreditation of nursing staff in the Emergency Department. The AHCNE will ensure all staff have equitable access to educational support and resources to enhance their clinical competence and promote professional development. The AHCNE fosters a learning environment and ensures evidence-based practice principles have been utilised in the development of policies and procedures within the clinical environment and broader organisation. The AHCNE is responsible for ensuring that the education delivered is current and based on the best available evidence and supports a culture of learning and skills attainment in the endeavor to provide the highest standard of patient care. Relevant clinical or education post-graduate qualifications and at least four years post-registration experience including three years' experience in an emergency setting. Should have completed Triage and CIN4. Demonstrated knowledge of innovative educational strategies, tools, and approaches including e-learning 5. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within the interdisciplinary team and has excellent and effective communication and interpersonal skills 6.
