About the role This part-time opportunity (3 days per week) reporting to the AFLW Senior Coach, this role will provide support, guidance, and education to the playing group to enhance performance and development.

Key Responsibilities include: Assist the Senior Coach to educate the playing group, implement the Club's game plan, and develop specific line queries including developing suggestions to improve performance. Contribute to the planning and execution of training sessions, including innovating ways to improve performance and players' understanding of the game plan. Develop genuine relationships with all players, particularly those within the relevant line, including actively participating in goal setting, analysing performance through vision and data, and identifying welfare strategies. Prepare forward line specific information to enhance player understanding of their role within the game plan, conduct meetings to prepare and review performance, and provide specific information in preparation for each game. The successful candidate The ideal candidate will be an exceptional leader with outstanding communication skills to communicate strategic outcomes and technical and tactical requirements within a high-performance environment. You will be a crucial role model and driver of team and club culture. A genuine passion for and knowledge of AFLW is crucial for this role.

You will have: A Level 2 Coaching Accreditation or above or currently studying. The ability to influence, manage and motivate athletes and coaching staff with proven experience in supporting the development of a high-performance team. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to quickly build rapport, engage with diverse groups, and build effective relationships across the Club. The ability to work in high pressure environments with competing demands. Experience with Sports Code and HUDL is highly desirable, however not essential. Flexibility with this role: attend 2-3 training sessions per week, match selection meetings, game days and club events where required.
