The Advisory Committee will be a conduit between the AEDA Board and broader city stakeholders to ensure the views of a wide range of industry sectors and businesses are provided to the AEDA Board.As a member of the Advisory Committee, you will represent the views of city businesses within your sector.A copy of the AEDA Advisory Committee Terms of Reference is available here.Advisory Committee members will annually determine the Chair of the Advisory Committee who will sit as a member of the AEDA Board.Advisory Committee positions are not remunerated.About UsThe Adelaide Economic Development Agency has been established by the City of Adelaide (CoA) as a subsidiary to focus on growing a strong economy for Adelaide.Working closely with businesses, industry groups, state government agencies and other organisations, AEDA delivers a range of programs designed to stimulate the city's economic growth with a focus on investment attraction, growing our visitor economy, residential growth, marketing the city as a whole and promoting Rundle Mall as Adelaide's premier shopping destination.In accordance with the AEDA Charter, an Advisory Committee is established with the function of enquiring into and reporting to the Agency on any matter within the Agency's functions and powers, including to provide a formal mechanism for city businesses, main streets, precincts and other stakeholders to provide advice to the Board.The Advisory Committee has a representative that sits on the AEDA Board.
