The opportunity
ASIO is seeking to fill a number of roles to support our facilities services team including the corporate accommodation portfolio, construction programs, designing and implementing office accommodation and spaces, and maintaining facilities.
A merit pool may be created to fill future vacancies which have the same or similar requirements to this position. This merit pool will be valid for up to 18 months.
Role responsibilities
As an AE5 Facilities Services Officer your duties may include:

Contributing to the coordination of Branch activities in alignment with the strategic direction of the Organisation.
Managing work requests and the associated prioritisations.
Contributing to project management administration (property accommodation and construction).
Contributing to leasing and contract administration.
Managing parking administration.
Managing spatial planning (seating allocations).
Engaging internal stakeholders.
Managing minor relocation activities.
Processing financial transactions.

As an AE6 Facilities Services officer your duties may include:

Contributing to the coordination of the Branch activities in alignment with the strategic direction of the Organisation.
Implementing business process improvements and change strategies.
Managing and maintaining the Property Strategy in accordance with the Commonwealth Guidelines.
Managing projects (accommodation and construction).
Managing project administration (accommodation and construction).
Managing spatial planning (seating allocations).
Engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
Managing leasing and contracts.
Managing finance.
Assisting the development of future planning strategies.
Contributing to reporting obligations.

Location
These positions are located in Canberra (other capital cities may be considered for some jobs) and applicants must be willing to relocate. Relocation assistance is provided to successful candidates where ASIO requires you to relocate.

Employment is under the Australian Security Intelligence Organisation Act 1979. Conditions of service are similar to those applying in the Australian Public Service.
