Advisor (Work Health & Safety), Transport And Main Roads

Job Purpose The purpose of the Advisor is to provide frontline WHS support and advice on the effective management of health and safety for our workers and workplaces to managers and operational staff across Infrastructure Management and Delivery (IMD). This role reports to the Infrastructure Safety Unit (ISU) but will work with health and safety professionals across Queensland to support the delivery of IMD's WHS management system.
Responsibilities Provide a high standard of professional advice Assist in the development and implementation of WHS policies and procedures Conduct risk assessments and safety audits Provide training and support to staff on WHS matters Monitor and report on WHS performance
