About the Team The Safety & Systems team works across and within several complex and challenging environments, from greenfield construction sites to operation and maintenance of some of the busiest rail corridors in Australia.
The purpose of the Safety & Environment function is to enable ARTC to deliver while protecting the health and safety of our people, the community and environment.
About the Opportunity Reporting to the Lead – Safety & Environment Performance, the Advisor – Safety & Environment Performance, this role will enable evidence-based decision making across ARTC.
The role will use a large Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) dataset to build dashboards and reports, identify key insights into ARTC's HSE performance and provide a deeper understanding of the drivers of this performance.
The role will deliver timely and reliable internal and external HSE reporting to stakeholders as well as adhoc reporting and trend analysis.
The role will work with stakeholders to improve the quality of the HSE dataset through quality assurance and continuous improvement.
About You To ensure success in this position, applicants will be able to demonstrate: Proven PowerBI report and dashboard development experience.
Strong SQL skills and experience preparing data for PowerBI.
Understanding of Data Warehouse & Databricks platforms are highly desirable.
Strong business analysis skills including business requirements elicitation, workshop facilitation and documentation.
Demonstrated ability to manage relationships with multiple stakeholders and build positive working relationships across both business and technical (IT) functions.
Experience in complex organizations building effective relationships across a large organisation.
Highly developed communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Evident analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
