We are looking for an? Advisor Safety and Emergency Response to provide support, advice and guidance to operational teams on the implementation of Health and Safety systems within the work environment.

Reporting to the Health and Safety Lead and working in a collaborative community within the HSE Bell Bay team, you will: Prepare and distribute performance reports on Health and Safety performance to the site, including identify trends and insights and End of Month/year reporting Be involved in Safety Maturity Model assessments (internal and external) and other relevant audits and assessments.
Manage the Critical Risk Management (CRM) portal with respect to Bell Bay employees and contractors.
Provide advice on relevant Health and Safety risks and aspects to operational teams.
Facilitate the completion of incident investigations along with investigation leads.
Prepare and deliver Health and Safety improvement packages (e.g.
shift start talks) Coordinate the sites HSE committee Maintain the distribution of isolation hardware Provide advice on the suitability of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Prepare the annual Emergency Response Team (ERT) training plan in conformance with relevant laws and regulations and Rio Tinto standards Coordinate the delivery of the annual ERT training plan and attendance to the annual TMEC ERT competition.
