The Advisor (Recruitment) SQCP-S2 is responsible to co-ordinate the effective and efficient provision of the recruitment component of the SQCP-S2 project outputs for the commissioning of Lockyer Valley Correctional Centre.
Coordinate and prioritise recruitment and selection activities to progress the recruitment and employment of candidates required for the various roles at the Lockyer Valley Correctional Centre.Provide ongoing candidate management and support with an aim to attracting appropriate talent for Lockyer Valley Correctional Centre positions.Provide highly professional customer focused services to customers and stakeholders.Work with contracted service providers to ensure recruitment services that meet the Project's requirements are provided.Review and analyse applications and draft correspondence to applicants as required.Coordinate and prepare material for the final assessment of shortlisted candidates including interviews and work tasks.Undertake activities and checks to ensure applicants are eligible for appointment in accordance with legislative requirements.Act as the point of contact for the resolution of applicant queries, including liaising with external providers.Identify potential risks and conflicts and inform the Senior Advisor (Recruitment) SQCP-S2 Project team.Develop and maintain strong relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders in the development, implementation, coordination and ongoing delivery of recruitment and selection activities.Undertake day-to-day work within a multi-disciplinary team in a high volume environment with competing demands and the requirement to meet strict deadlines and provide support to various services assigned to the SQCP-S2 recruitment stream of the Strategic People and Communications Project Delivery team.Ensure the integrity of information obtained during the recruitment and election process and ensure such documentation is managed appropriately.Be accountable for upholding the principles and practices of Queensland Corrective Services in accordance with legislation, policies, and standards.Contribute by way of example to developing a workplace environment that values positive performance, continuous improvement, and innovation in the delivery of high-quality services.Applications to remain current for 12 months.
