Key Responsibilities Coordinate and monitor the provision of timely, accurate and relevant procurement advice and information in alignment with departmental procurement business and governance framework.End to end procurement activity implementation including procurement planning and documentation, evaluation and supplier negotiation, contract documentation, supply arrangements establishment and maintenance.Provide accurate and professional advice and support to clients regarding end-to-end procurement activity.Liaise with counterparts for provision of advice, the gaining of further knowledge with the aim of refining local business practices.Ensure successful business outcomes through effective resource utilisation, performance monitoring, analysis and reporting.Support, coach and mentor a team of procurement officers, ensuring appropriate skill sets and training needs are identified and developed.This position reports to the Senior Advisor (Procurement). Mandatory Requirements Criminal history screening.A "C" class driver's licence. Desirable Qualifications Possession of Level 1 & Level 2 Qld PCP Procurement would be advantageous.Demonstrated knowledge of procurement processes and understanding procurement policies and work instructions.Strong analytical ability to review procurement documentation and identify discrepancies.Ability to use multiple finance and project management systems. It is highly desirable to have SAP and 3 PCM experience or similar, but not essential.Proficient in MS Office suite applications including but not limited to Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams.
